About This Recipe

The term “salsa” in Spanish basically means sauce and refers to condiments served with various foods and appetizers. Salsa sauce is the perfect combination of tomato, garlic, and pepper. Salsa is usually a tomato-based sauce or dip. The recipe for this dip is very simple and it is ready in 10 minutes.

What do You Need To Make Salsa Recipe

  • Tomato: The tomatoes in this dip should be fully ripe and juicy.
  • Garlic: Garlic is a must for a good salsa, so do not skip it at all.
  • Red onion: The best onion for this dip is white or red onion. White onion gives a stronger, spicier taste to the sauce.
  • Jalapeno pepper: Mexican cuisine is known for its spiciness, which is why jalapeno and peppers are a staple of Mexican recipes.
  • Lemon juice
  • Salt
  • Fresh coriander

How to Make This Dip?

If you don’t want to chop the ingredients, cut them coarsely, mix all the ingredients in the food processor, and pulse for 5-10 seconds. You will get a slightly more watery salsa, but the taste will not change. Cut the tomatoes into quarters, remove the seeds, and then cut them into small cubes.

Cut the pepper along, discarding the center with the seeds, and cut into tiny cubes. Similarly, dice the onions. Put all the ingredients into a bowl. Add the finely chopped or grated garlic to it. Add lemon juice and mix well. Finally, chop the coriander leaves and add them to the mixture. Before serving, add salt.
