What You Will Need

– 1 cup all-purpose flour – 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened – 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter – 1 large egg – 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed – 1/2 cup granulated sugar – 3/4 cup rolled oats – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 1/2 teaspoon baking soda – 1/4 teaspoon salt – 1 cup red and green M&M chocolate candies – 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips


Cream together butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add egg, peanut butter, and vanilla extract. Beat until light and fluffy for about 1 minute.


Fold in flour, oats, baking soda, and salt. Mix until just combined and the dough is formed. Stir in the chocolate chips and M&M's candies.


Cover and chill the dough in the fridge for 30 minutes. Scoop the dough into balls with a cookie scoop.


Place them on the baking sheet leaving about 2 inches of space between each. Bake the cookies for about 10-12 minutes in preheated 350°F (175°C) oven.


The centers may appear slightly underdone, but they will firm up as they cool. Let them cool for 5 minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.
