M&M Christmas Cookies In a Jar

The Festive Season is around the corner and we are all preparing for it in different ways to celebrate these days with our loved ones. Looking for new gift ideas for your friends and loved ones? Do you agree with the homemade Christmas cookies in a jar that you made yourself? I think this idea is very creative and unique. Pour the dry cookie ingredients into the jar. Decorate the glass with colored ribbons and attach a handwritten or printed version of the cookie recipe.

The good thing about these Christmas cookies is that you can customize them according to the taste of the person who is going to receive this jar as a gift. You can buy the favorite cookie ingredients of your friend or family member and pour them into these jars. I decided to make this cookie mix in a jar for a friend of mine who loves m&m chocolates.

Make bakery-style M&M cookies with this cookie mix in a jar. These cookies are soooo good with a chewy texture and amazing taste, they will disappear in no time!

What Do You Need to Make M&M Christmas Cookies in a Jar?

  • Flour: First Use all-purpose flour for this cookie. fluff up the flour in the container. Then spoon the flour into the measuring cup. Use the back of a knife, to sweep away the excess flour.
  • M&M chocolate candies: These cookies are suitable for those who love M&M chocolate candies because in every bite you will get a little bit of each.
  • Baking soda: Baking soda helps leaven the cookie dough, creating a soft and fluffy texture.
  • Chocolate chips: In addition to M&M chocolates, I also add some chocolate chips, which I think will make the final result much better. Chocolate chips can be milky, semi-sweet, or dark chocolate.
  • Granulated sugar and brown sugar: I usually use a combination of granulated sugar and brown sugar to make cookies, which I think works very well.
  • Salt: Add a little salt to balance the sweetness.

Assemble the Jars

To assemble the jars, all you have to do is carefully measure the ingredients and layer them in the jar. Attach a handwritten or printed note to the jar and write the recipe and steps. Just make sure the glass, spoon, and utensils you need are completely dry and clean.
