What You Will Need

– 2 shots espresso or 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee – 1 cup milk of choice – 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup – 1 tablespoon peppermint syrup (Torani, Monin or homemade mint syrup) – Whipped cream, for garnish – Crushed candy canes or sprinkles, for garnish

In a small saucepan, combine milk, chocolate syrup, and peppermint syrup. Heat on the stove until the steam rises. (Do not boil it.) Then froth milk.

Pour the prepared espresso into a mug. Slowly pour the frothed milk over the espresso. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle crushed candy cane or Christmas sprinkles.

The result is a cozy sip that tastes like the holidays!
