  • Add the egg, sour cream, milk, vanilla extract, and 1 tablespoon of melted butter to the dry ingredients and whisk until well combined.
  • Transfer the batter into a piping bag or ziplock bag and snip off the tip.
  • Pipe the donut batter into the donut pans filling them about 2/3 of the way full.
  • Bake for 9-10 minutes then remove from the oven and let them cool enough to handle.
  • Lightly brush the donuts with the remaining melted butter.
  • In a small bowl mix ground cinnamon and sugar.
  • Dip mini donuts in cinnamon sugar.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup light or dark brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 tablespoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and cooled slightly, divided
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • FOR CINNAMON SUGAR:
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup granulated white sugar

Instructions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325ºF.

Lightly spray the mini donut pan with nonstick cooking spray.

In a large mixing bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder, sugar, ground cinnamon, and salt.

Step 4
