Why You Will Love This Recipe

  • Easy to make: This decadent summer berry tiramisu is easy to make at home. Requires a few ingredients and comes together in minutes with very little fuss. You can make it the night before you’re planning to serve it.
  • Make ahead recipe: You can make this tiramisu up to 24 hours ahead. Be sure to cover tiramisu cups with plastic wrap and place them in the refrigerator. Garnish the top with fresh berries just before serving.
  • No-bake: A twist on classic Italian dessert perfect for when there’s nothing sweet in the house and you don’t want to bake.

What You Will Need to Make Mixed Berry Tiramisu

  • Ladyfingers: I have used light, crispy, and sweet ladyfinger biscuits to make this tiramisu but you can use old-fashioned vanilla sponge cake.
  • Mascarpone cheese: Mascarpone cheese is a key ingredient in our tiramisu recipe. It gives this sweet fruit tiramisu a creamy texture. If you have run out of mascarpone cheese you can mix room-temperature cream cheese with heavy cream and a little sour cream.
  • Orange juice: The orange and berry juice-soaked ladyfingers will add a tangy and citrusy flavor to your tiramisu that is sure to be a hit. Use whatever syrup, liqueur, or juice you wish to moisten the ladyfinger biscuits.
  • Lemon juice: Fresh lemon juice adds bright citrus notes.
  • Granulated sugar: Add granulated sugar to sweeten the berry mixture.
  • Heavy whipping cream: Traditional tiramisu uses raw egg yolks and whipped egg whites which I don’t like at all! For making a creamy filling I swap out the egg whites with whipped cream.
  • Powdered sugar: I prefer using powdered sugar as it dissolves easily. You can alternatively use superfine sugar or granulated sugar.
  • Raspberries, strawberries, blackberries, and blueberries for the filling.
