What Do You Need to Make Strawberry Lime Sorbet

  • Strawberries: Frozen fruits are usually used to make sorbet. After rinsing the strawberries simply cut them in half lengthwise and leave them in the freezer for a few hours to freeze. Use ripe strawberries for the best flavor!
  • Lime: Lime juice adds a tangy, citrusy flavor to the sorbet and boosts the strawberry flavor.
  • Sugar: Usually fruits do not have enough sweetness for sorbet naturally and we have to add a little sweetener to it. The sorbet sweetener is sugar syrup, which is made by mixing water and sugar.

What Makes Sorbet So Creamy?

Sorbeto does not contain dairy and, in simpler terms, it is fat-free. Sorbet is usually made with fruits that have high pectin and fiber. These fruits get a texture similar to ice cream after being pureed in a blender.
