  • 1½ tablespoons of chia seeds
  • 2 cups of water (or coconut water for added flavor)
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • Ice cubes


Step 1

In a large glass or jar, add the chia seeds. Add water and stir to combine. Let the chia seeds sit for about 10-15 minutes to absorb the liquid and develop a gel-like consistency.

Step 2

After 10 minutes add lemon juice and honey to the mixture and stir well to combine. Pour the Chia Fresca into two glasses filled with ice cubes. Garnish with lemon slices and enjoy your refreshing and nutritious drink.
