How to Make Homemade Iced Matcha Latte
To make a matcha latte, first, pour hot water into a deep bowl. In order for Matcha not to lose its antioxidant properties, do not use boiling water. The ideal water temperature is around 80°C/176°F. Then add the powdered matcha tea into the hot water and whisk until foamy with the help of a hand blender or Chasen (Matcha whisk).
You should also make sure that the matcha is thoroughly dissolved. Because it can stick to the glass or cup and even sink to the bottom like coffee grounds. Add ice cubes to 1 cup of your favorite milk. Then, if you wish, you can sweeten your iced latte with a tablespoon of vanilla syrup. You can also adjust the milk ratio yourself to your taste.
