This creamy smoothie recipe will be your go-to breakfast or refreshing afternoon snack.

 

About This Recipe

You can find apricots at local grocery stores from May to August. Use ripe golden, orange colour apricots highlighted with blush with sweet smell. This smoothie needs only four ingredients – apricots, vanilla yogurt, honey and milk.

What You Need to Apricot Smoothie

  • Apricot: Use ripe golden, orange colour apricots highlighted with blush with sweet smell. De-seed the apricots and chop them into small pieces before use.
  • Milk: You can use both vegan milk and dairy milk to make this smoothie.
  • Vanilla yogurt: I recommend using plain or vanilla yogurt.
  • Honey: Add honey to sweeten, if you’d like.

 

How to Make Apricot Smoothie Like a Pro?

De-seed the apricots and chop them into small pieces. Pour all the ingredients into the mixer and give a few pulses until it is completely smooth. You can also add a few pieces of an ice cube to have an icy texture smoothie. For smoothies, you need a powerful blender. If your blender isn’t powerful enough, it won’t be able to break up frozen fruits and ice.
